XX (Anniversary) Conference on “New aspects in chemistry and application of chitin and its derivatives”” was held on 24-26 September 2014 in Lodz. The newest trends in this field were presented by the researchers from national and foreign universities and institutes, including UK, Germany and Russia. The third prize for the best presentation was awarded to our PhD student, Agata Niemczyk for the presentation entitled „The improvements of chitosan properties by its modification”. Moreover, poster presentation entitled „Spin-coated chitosan on polyester biomaterial” was awarded with the first prize!
